How to play
- In a Mead Room, open Activities and choose Twisted Tale.
- Write the first sentence of your tale. At each step every tale moves one seat along: draw the sentence you got, or describe the drawing. Nobody gets the same tale twice.
- In the Reading, the raven shows each tale note by note, and whoever started it leads. Everyone has three feathers to give to their favorite notes.
Details
- Modes
- Classic; Tavern start, with the first sentence drawn from the deck; and Raven's memory, drawings only, where the drawing to copy shows for 5 seconds.
- Pace
- Fast, normal or calm: 20 to 50 seconds to write and 45 seconds to 2 minutes to draw.
- At the end
- The Golden Raven, the best drawing and the best line. Any tale can go on the Tavern's Board or be saved as a picture.
Questions
Do I need to be good at drawing?
No. Everyone draws on the match's board, on a computer or a phone, and whoever gets the drawing just describes what they made of it.
What happens to the tales afterwards?
In the Reading, the group sees each tale from start to finish. Then any tale can go on the Tavern's Board, as one picture, or be saved to your device.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The game runs inside a Mead Room, in your browser. Everyone in the call sees the same match.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in your phone's browser. The call stays open, so you can talk while you play.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The games come with every Room.
